0001501: apache_authentication=true doesn't work when $_SERVER['REMOTE_USER'] is not set

In some cases (depending on configuration of apache and php) the server sets the attribute REDIRECT_REMOTE_USER instead of REMOTE_USER, when using basic authentication.

In this case the functions in include/user.inc.php will fail to determine the user id of the user who had logged in using basic authentication. And he need to login again using the form based login against the database.

I changed the source code to use REDIRECT_REMOTE_USER and it works for me.

I think it would be a nice solution if you can use the REDIRECT_REMOTE_USER attribute as fallback when REMOTE_USER is not set.

0001500: Properties in photo selection are not properly updated in batch mode

When photo selection is in "thumbnail + caption" or "properties list" mode, only the last selected item is refreshed and not the whole batch.

0001497: No users tracking when Ghost tracker is not active and initialized

Users tracking option used without Ghost Tracker don't work. To make it work, we have to activate Ghost Tracker and initialize it.

That's not the good way. Users tracking have to be functionnal without any other option.

0001478: Ability to set properties for a photo selection

When a multiple photo selection is defined, properties ( caption, comment, author, create date ) replace each photo property.

0001496: Display a message in the photo selection when it is empty.

The message indicates that the user can drag-and-drop photos or click on the add button.

The current getting started panel will be removed.

0001495: make the administration "infos" and "errors" block more visible

Since 2.0, the "errors" and "infos" are not visible enough. They should.

Add an header in the administration panel.

To increase usability, we need an alternative theme in administration panel. http://piwigo.org/ext/extension_view.php?eid=275 [^] is a perfect starting point.

1) install goto/clear,
2) add a "header" in the administration,
3) add a theme switch in the administration header,
4) the administration theme must be stored permanently for a given user.

0001494: template modeling: a template derives from another

When you create a new template, no need to duplicate all yoga *.tpl files. Only "derives" from "default" and overload a local *.tpl file if needed.

Using FCK Editor functions for emails text customization fields. The code is already done but commented until bug 1465 is solved.

If a category is set as "uplaodable", it should always be visible, even if empty.

When an admin creates an account, an information email should be sent to the created user if the related option is active.

0001487: LMT image not displayed with IE8

with IE8 on loading picture page, the LMT image is not displayed.
When I fly over the buttons in the upper left (slideshow or exif data), the LMT image appears.
the LMT image disappears when you leave the buttons.

I did not reproduce the pb with FF 3.6, only with IE8 (and maybe n-1 version, but I've not).

Checkboxes for tag definitions are in a unordered list, with makes them quite unusable.

A table will be much more efficient.

Admins can create themselves users accounts. They should be able to choose if confirmation email have to be send or not to this created users.

The plugin version is not displayed in Ghost Tracker tab.

When an admin or webmaster changes his email address, he receives an email for confirmation (only if this feature is activated). This should not be !

ConfirmMail doesn't have to be called for admins or webmasters.

By sending a reminder with or without key in user validation control panel, the subject is not translated.

line 15 to 27 are not correct and generate a java debug error.

We have to use unserialize() function to avoid problems with other plugins and improve the saving of plugin's data in database.

When authenticating via a plain page "identification.php", the visitor is redirected to the page in which he had clicked on "connect". He should not be redirected to home page when authenticating form index.php, in "quickconnect" block of menubar

0001483: Synchronise the GPS exif field

Piwigo can't synchronise actually the GPS exif field. We have must use a second synchronization with rv_maps.
Result : two synchronizations :-(
