| Summary | 0000204: IE doesn't dispaly the same text in tooltips (info-bulles) than other browsers | ||||||
| Description |
When moving the mouse over an icon tool, the tooltip (info-bulle) displayed by IE is not the same than by other browsers. In fact IE shows the value of the "alt" attribute of the <img> whereas others prefer the "title" attribute of the <a> |
||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | |||||||
| Additional Information |
Icon tools are images embeded in a link tag. IMHO IE is wrong because the original purpose of the "alt" attribute is to be displayed when we can't / don't want to display the actual image. The obvious way to fix this bug is to duplicate the "title" in the "alt" which would be wrong because if an image is missing the display woul'd be a total mess. (Thanks a lot IE for this new trick :-( |
