0002197: simplify the home URL, remove the "index.php?"

Description

By default, the home URL is ".../index.php?" and this is very ugly. People perform a "copy link location" with their web browser and paste it on forums for example.

If home index url (make_index_url function) does not add any parameter, let's fall back to a nicer URL.
