In my opinion, the current behaviour is correct. It's a mistake to update the archive. No matter how tiny is the modification and if it only occurs for costa rica users only.

I was true... but it is not possible any more.
Try to edit a revision: you can't upload any file now.

You may create a new release, even for little mistake.

;-)

Super we talked but I hadn't seen the change that's good news

Yes, it is overwritten, but you loose the number of downloads.

Is it new ?

I remember that it was not like that...

Yes I know. But here, only english user were impacted : it was not possible for them to install the update. I didn't want to made a 2.1.1 release only for an english release.

Today, I found a bug in the AStat/language/en_UK/plugin.lang.php file : a semi-colon was forgotten somewhere.
The result was a blank screen in the installation process of the plugin.

So, I have added the forgotten semi-colon and made an update of the 2.1.0 release.

But to update a release in PEM without adding a new release (I don't want to make 2.1.1 release just for this) we have to delete the release and recreate it because we can't update the archive file.
With this process, we lost all download statistics for the release... :-(

Is it possible the make PEM allowing us to update the archive file for a release ?
