To show the problem, I let it on my test gallery : Test PWG with arabic language, and I put the correction of this morning on my family gallery : Le Site A Nous with arabic language.

Yes. I don't know arabic language (I wish I knew) but I knew that it is from right to left. I had also guessed the problem could come from that parameter.

But, when displaying arabic with the parameter set to left-to-right instead of right-to-left as it should for arabic language, does the writing remain understandable for arabic speaking people ?

My test gallery http://lucmorizur.free.fr is now at most up to date (only Download Multi is kept at the working version for Free internet provider), and the issue with extension:250 doesn't appear, so that is OK.

But the way template/theme floPure/Autumn is displayed is as I showed, you can try. Did you try it yourself also ? If the display is indeed not nice as I showed, I shall post a message in the template topic in the french forum.

No, not at all :-/ ...

I will install the files on my test gallery tomorrow evening, I think it is a little bit more up-to-date.

The sad thing is that I have no time for doing all I would like : not a single line for Event Cats today, because of all other things I did on my computer :-( ...

Anyway I'll try to follow that subject tomorrow.

Cheers !

Thank you very much mohammed, we've been waiting arabic language for a long time :-) If you're interested there are many other places were translations can be achieved (extension descriptions on piwigo.org/ext, extensions themselves, announcements, website...), just let us know how far you want to go :-)

Hi ;

on my local gallery (WampServer), unzipped files in piwigo/language/ar_AR folder ; copied file http://piwigo.org/svn/branches/2.0/plug … /ar_SA.jpg in piwigo/plugins/language_switch/icons and renamed it in ar_AR.jpg .

Please find with attached image the effect with floPure/autumn. The effect with yoga/dark and /clear is quite OK, but some problems occur for customization page for instance (profile.php). It seems some adaptation must be done when using right-to-left reading parameters -- something like that.

Also, if extension:250 is activated, the following notice occurs :

Notice: Undefined index: ar_AR in C:\wamp\www\piwigo\plugins\AMenuManager\amm_pip.class.inc.php on line 74

So I think some improvements are needed (in the language file maybe, and sometimes in some other extensions), but indeed that's a nice job !

:-)

Hi mohammed ;
I would have been interested in trying your translation, unfortunately you provide it in a .RAR file only, and I didn't find any free software to read it.

7-zip

Many thanks Damien ; in the meanwhile a zip file has been posted, so I downloaded this one, I'm a lazy guy :-) ...
