I really like this theme too... Where can we download it to test it?
Thanks
What happened to this theme? Where can we download it?

I mean the navigation icons inside the flash Slideshow. But you're right, the Flash icon could be much better. By the way, I don't think visitors care about the technology (Flash), they care about "Fullscreen slideshow" in my opinion.

language tabs
Regarding the tabs and language challenge, those images could be HTML5 canvas and create vertical text dynamically?
I'm afraid it is a bit too soon for HTML5 only solutions. There are still numerous users of Internet Explorer 7.

They could also be php GD generated but that is pretty intense to generate 4 or 5 of them every page via scripting. I suppose, the GD generated images could be cached, but adds complexity.
Caching is easy. Checking that GD complies with russian/arabic/chinese characters may be more complicated.

I guess the out-of-the-box thinking would be to make them completely graphical and have tooltip / title show correct translation?
Yes, that would be the simplest solution. This is a nearly what KoffeeTux is doing, see it in action.

connection settings
regarding connection settings in header, that flow break was specific to Linux and should be corrected now. I removed with width specification on that element and seems to make all the browsers I have going happy.
That's better now, all icons are in the top header. Unfortunately the quicksearch box is not centered anymore and that was a very good design.
<3 pAnchor plugin and pGravatar !
Thanks plg!

Do you mean the flash Slideshow icon or the icons in general? I was planning on improving all / most of the standard icons to match the theme better, but still using standard icons. The Flash icon could also be better too!

Good suggestions ;-)
Congratulations for customization. It's very successful
Your theme is... impressive! Great work, many very good ideas. Your theme really brings something new to Piwigo. Congratulations!
* the fullscreen slideshow is very interesting, I wonder if there are other icons available (with a better graphical style)
* the menu on the left is very unusual in Piwigo galleries and I personnaly like it, but I really wonder how to solve the multi-lingual issue. Having a set of images for each language is not a good solution, because there are 35 languages available for Piwigo. You should also consider that these labels can be customized and this is not possible (not easy enough) with images.
* depending on the width of my screen, the connection settings in the header are placed outside the header, see my screenshot (Firefox 3..6.12, Linux)
If you want a place on the Subversion repository, just ask :-)
Great job stellablue!
Hi piwigo users & developers,
I created a new theme for piwigo and am going to donate as a contribution to the project. A few plugins were also created along the way. I posted an article discussing the theme and features at a site I support and there is also a live demo. screenshot attached, but live demo better
Here is link to article
Here is link to new theme demo
So, I would appreciate any feedback and beat it up a bit. Make sure you check out the fullscreen slideshow as I feel it delivers a clean and an impressive presentation.
PS: anything that doesn't seem to work right, I must still be working on that....developers make horrible testers....I prove that everyday ;-) - Stellablue
