In a perfect world, the libwx-perl package in Ubuntu wouldn't have been broken and a simple "apt-get install ploader" or a click on the "install" button in the Ubuntu Software Center should have been enough.

I don't think the solution is harmful in any way.

Hi mahdiar,

1) install pLoader from the Ubuntu Software Center

Unfortunately, there is a bug on Ubuntu, see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour … bug/754513 so there is a second step :

2) from a terminal, type:

Code:

sudo cpan Wx

and answer "yes" to every question.

Then you can run pLoader (I don't know where to find it in the new Unity organization)
