Thanks for your guidance. I think I will look into the "Simple black" theme as you suggest.
I just thought that the theme used on http://peijy.piwigo.com/ was based on the theme "Stripped" (at least it looks like).
Anyway - I like the theme "Stripped" - I am just building a gallery where I have to include the album description.

The theme you're looking for should be simple black.

Maybe this is the one you should use. Otherwise, you can do like Zaphod explained it before. ;-)

You can't. The theme was conceived not to display album description.
As nearly every theme display album description and I don't want to, that was one of the main reasons I decided to do my own theme.

If you want, it may be possible to do it, with modifying mainpage_categories.tpl, theme.css, and some png images, but it's possible that the theme won't work as well as before.
[edit] in fact you can look at what is done in simple theme... this should work without too much work. This will cause problems only if you have, in the same album, sub-albums and pictures.

I use the theme "Stripped" (nice clean theme) but I wonder how to display Category title and description next to the catgory thumbnails like it's done here:

I have looked into the template files and the configuration the the theme, but can't find out where to "fix this"

Hope for some guidance
