I read all quickly... and didn't understand that. but now yes.
You make a very nice work, I know it's hard....
for the metadata, I will use them to enter the informations about the pictures. (place , name, copyright, time, keywords, comments...) as we have to do usualy to make easier the work between us (photographers and magazines)

yes, the first part of the work I did (the hardest) was to have the possibility to use files metadata during database update. Indeed, when you add files, on the update result page, it tells you :
- the number of pictures added
- the number of pictures removed
- ask you if you want to synchronize metadata
In the configuration section of the admin panel, you can ask to use EXIF and/or IPTC during metadata synchronization.
In the very near future (this week), I'll add the possibility to "show" metadata under each picture (please, note the difference between "use metadata" and "show metadata")

sorry but no EXIF or IPTC on my test site under the photos.... of course I check them ok on the configuration page.
is it normal ?
