I was working in the Extension Manager database and I realized that it could be interesting for Piwigo community to get some figures about most popular extensions.

This is not representative of number of users....

Of course you're right :-) This is why I have added the number of revisions and the age of the extension. It's just to get an idea of what is downloaded on the Extension Manager.

By the way, if PEM (the web application behind Piwigo Extension Manager) was able to "sort by most downloaded", would we take into account the number of revisions and the age of the extension?

I don't understand why PY GVideo is not popular, I think it is the most funny one (may be think to add it to Piwigo.com offer).
PWG Stuffs is a must before Charlie.
Piclens is recent and its web2 concept really appreciated but too heavy.

These 2 (Download Multi and Look_like_Gbo) are surprizing me.
I rarely see sites with Download Multi. So I presume people are looking for a caddy system and not a zip system and they just try it.
Look_like is doing too many little things, I can't explain its success, and looking like is a strange approach for websites.

About Charlie' content maybe you forget I am used to delete old revisions (those I won't maintain at all).
Anyway, I am pleased to discover it at this stage.

From my point of view the greatest one is RV Maps&Earth which embed an automatically themed browser, a synchro system, and so many evident tips.
It is always a good surprise to have it with a website, I never forget to visit the gallery by that way.

pLoader is most important evolution of recent time but it is just a first step of a new story.

Number of download represents nothing.

For example, 2 popular plugins... One with 2 versions, the other with 20 versions... Try to compare number of download...

Big number of download = a lot of bugs or a great numbers of news functionalities...

A good comparator must be the max download number by version.

Real figures could be somewhere between average and max. (Bounced or duplicate downloads are part of max).
