I would distribute a refresh version in extension by mid-Tuesday (Beijing time).

Deactivate.
Uninstall.
Delete.
[extension by VDigital] Language Switch is a new consolidated version
I don't promise it solves your issue but maybe.
Admin > Specials > Plugins
"Other plugins" tab
Find "Language Switch" 2.0.7.a 2010-01-25 vdigital
Click on "Automatic installation"
Install and activate.

I know I didn't want to solve it before because only IE6 was impacted.
I confirm the bug.
Have you many visitors with Maxthon or IE6
