Is there a way to make the comments use Ajax?

Can you describe the behavior you're expecting?
Which form are your talk about? (the "add a comment" form or the "view all comments" form")
Which theme are you currently running?

I am using Sylvia theme (standard).
What I am expecting is that when the youtube video plays and someone wants to place a comment in the meantime, that this video keeps on playing without reloading the page, which makes the video start all over again...

OK, I understand perfectly :-) and your example with a video makes the request quite obvious!

I think yes. But I have a manager level on the bugtracker so I have different settings for email notification.
Notification system is a bit complex is the bugtracker, so I would advise you to registrer on the forum and subscribe to this topic. I will post a message when we will work on this issue.
