Interested in Image Management Applications
Though I am a user of many imaging management applications (on all major OS platform) I'd like to know what makes this different and or have the edge against any other?
I am usually a GNU/Linux Debian user and familiar with the ff:
shotwell
gthumb
imagviewer
iPhoto (mac)
Media Player (windows)
Is there an advantage to get to know Piwigo?

Hi,
All applications you list are desktop apps.
Piwigo is a server application. Then you can manage how other people see your photos when you decide to share them.
