I see the difference. I deleted stripped and stripped & columns completely, then re-installed both. Now we're OK. Thanks for your patience.

Hello again!
Ran into a new challenge. Language popup is behaving as a pup-in-between, so to speak. It's appearing under the thumbnails.
Running the latest versions of everything.

Still my favorite theme! I like all the new features.
Since I can now have the language selection in the side-bar menu (thanks to another plugin), I could remove it from the top-right. How would I do that?
The only feature I wish the theme could do is keep the vertical thumbnails at same resolution as horizontal thumbnails. That way I could, for example, have horizontal thumbnails at 160x120 and vertical ones at 120x160. Instead of setting "width of thumbnail" we would set "thumbnail long dimension".

Huuum, you means the width of 2 columns for horizontal thumbnails ?

Two column wide horizontals would be nice too, but that's not what I originally meant. Two columns wide, together with the random "large thumbnail" could make things even more interesting (or jumbled, depending on your point of view) :)
In the screenshot I uploaded yesterday, you can see that "2007" is one column wide, 150 x112 high, while "2006" is also one column wide, but because it's vertical it is 150 wide x 200 high. What I wish is that "2006" occupy one column space but be shown as 112 wide x 150 high. (you can see what I mean about thumbnail sizes here http://bullesdenature.free.fr/galerie/i … ategory/12 on this piwigo showcase site, although I don't like the rest of that theme)

Hi, here is another screenshot of what I'd like to see. I accomplished this by editing the style in place. I don't know enough ajax programming to make a child theme do this.

This is my favorite theme!
Question: Is there a way to turn off the filename display at the top-left of each image thumbnail?
For most themes, the config option
"$conf['show_thumbnail_caption'] = false;"
turns it off, but not in Stripped & Columns.
