Hi,
I have just set up Piwigo on my webspace last week and love it already. However I cannot solve one issue: I would like the HD version of pictures to be resized if they exceed a certain limit.
I have set Photos > Add > Settings to:
Keep High definition (check)
Resize (check)
Max width: 1200px
Max height: 1200px
Image Quality: 95%
However when I upload a picture with 4000x3000, the HD version is not being resized. With the above mentioned settings it still ends up being 4000x3000px.
I found a bunch of other threads with similar problems, but they usually were missing ImageMagick, which is available on my webserver.
I am running Piwigo 2.3.4 on a server with this environment:
* Operating system: Linux
* PHP: 5.3.10-1~dotdeb.1 (Show info) [2012-05-21 14:44:24]
* mysql: 5.1.61-2~dotdeb.0 [2012-05-21 14:44:24]
* Graphics Library: ImageMagick 6.6.0-4
Am I perhaps missing an additional step or something? Does anybody have ideas how I could fix this?
Some additional information:
I have tried to use the Browser uploader and the Flash uploader both. I have also tried changing the settings and resetting them to resize the HD picture which also did not change the result.
I reproduce the bug. The HD resizing does not work. I'll see what I can do about it.

HD resize was working on Piwigo 2.2 and also works on Piwigo 2.4 but doesn't work on Piwigo 2.3.*. Still investigating.

Thank you for your efforts, that explains it. :)
I'll ask my users to do it themselves until it can be resolved or 2.4 is released.
I understand the problem (at coding level) and I know how to solve it. But considering Piwigo 2.4 is very near and that nobody has reported this bug for 6 months, we can consider it's not a major bug and it can wait for version 2.4.

Alright, that works for me. Thank you very much for your time!
Hey,
I just wanted to inform you that the problem persists in 2.3.5, although this is may be expected?
Regards,
Mark
It was not planned to fix this bug in version 2.3.5.
