By default plugin Rotate Image is not available on Piwigo.com (it is hidden). I've made it available for your account.

It is hidden because it is not "quality safe".

Re: How to "rotate" an image and thumbnail

Is there a way i can enable this feature in my own version of piwigo?  I'm using 2.4.

Also, what do you mean when you say it's not "quality safe"?

I just found Piwigo btw, and it's fantastic!  Thanks!

Re: How to "rotate" an image and thumbnail

I've looking at version 2.6.3 and don't see rotating images as an option.  Does that mean it is still not available in piwigo?

Re: How to "rotate" an image and thumbnail

Has there been any movement on this to make it available and fulling working in the latest branch?

This is a feature that I believe is very important. I realise you can do while uploading photos, but not after. It is likely you may miss a few especially if there are a number of images to upload.

Thanks.

Re: How to "rotate" an image and thumbnail

This is clunky. I was expecting this functionality to be on the photo itself, ie. edit photo; basically where you can see it. This extension seems to require you to put the photo in the cart or something. It should be something that is fast and easy to use on per photo basis.

Re: How to "rotate" an image and thumbnail

I was surprised too when the plugin description said it was for batch edition of a group of photos, but in fact the function is displayed ALSO as a new tab in the photo (individual) edition page. Try it.

Re: How to "rotate" an image and thumbnail

I stand corrected. I can see the rotate tab. If anything, this discussion will bring more attention to the fact that this exists. It may also ask the question why this isn't a stock feature.

Thanks.

Happy to know you've found what you were looking for. I'm going to settle right my poor owl who is beginning to get tired of being upside down.
