edit_gmaps extension

Can someone point me in the direction of further information for this plug-in.

Namely - what is 'update_exif' supposed to do.

If I select a photo and alter its position on the map then select 'update_exif' the plugin reports success, and the image 'last modified' date changes in the directory - BUT NO change to the position of the image on the map.

If I select a photo and alter its position on the map then select 'update_database' the plugin reports success, and the image 'last modified' date does not change in the directory - BUT THERE IS a change to the position of the image on the map.

So 'update_exif' seems to do nothing.

Or am I missing something?

Re: edit_gmaps extension

I can't be the only one using Piwigo with 'Maps & Earth' - so does lack of replies mean no one knows the answer to my question? - surely not.

Re: edit_gmaps extension

Thanks for the reply clj.

I cannot use GMaps because it needs other plugins to make it work, and the other plugins do not work in V2.4.

What I was hoping was that the GPS data inside the jpg could be changed and saved back to the jpg.
