I would like to see a field added to the _images table which keeps track of when tags were updated.  This field, i.e. date_tags_updated, could be used by an external/script program to determine which images have information which need to be synchronized back to the original.  Right now that information is just stored in the database.

The reason that I'm asking for this is that I have lots of historical photos that I want to load and have other people place tags on them.  I then want to merge these tags back to the original images so that the information travels with the image.  There is no good way to do that now, but with this field I can [easily] write a script to extract the tags and write them back to the image using a program such as exiftool.
