Hi
about [Bugtracker] ticket 2831 am I missing something or the commit on action.php is missing?
Because i just tested $conf['original_url_protection']="images"; and all url to the orginal is action.php but that returns nothing

I dont' see any difference when or without activating
$conf['original_url_protection'] = 'images';
in the config_default.inc.php file.
How is it supposed to work?

The URL of the original pictures is no longer the direct one but one with action.php?...

How does that work? I'm interested to test the protection.
I like to use Piwigo as replacement for an existing galerie, but it can be only done if it is impossible for guests to view pictures without login.

It uses an url action.php?id=xx so the script will check if the user can download the picture
To complete that put a Deny from All in a .htaccess in /upload and /galleries, and set correctly the sizes in admin panel

What should be added to .htaccess and where should .htaccess go?
I am a bit confused about this issue, so trying to find the info bits scattered around in this forum on how to use this - is this FAQ entry still relevant then? I see no mention of $conf['original_url_protection'] there, so how does this relate?
