categories/albums comments configuration

I've searched to see if this is possible but can't find any mention of it.

Using Community and the Comments plugins - Can add comments to an album page but no way to add comments to individual pics in the album.

Just using a test site for now but here is an example of what we need on the site we're moving from:

Comments on individual pics in the album, comments showing on album page tied to the image commented on.

Any help much appreciated!

Hi,

Basically, Piwigo allows to post comments only for individual pictures. [extension by mistic100] Comments on Albums allows to post comments on albums in addition of pictures. So, I think you've to activate comments in Piwigo's options: Admin panel > Configuration > Options > Comments tab

I now can add comments on individual pics. I seem unable to reply to comments though. Is that the default?

Yes it's a default usage. To allow reply to comments, you can use [extension by mistic100] Reply To
