I have set my recent pictures option to 1 day.
the problem is that the recent pictures icon stays active for 2 days
is there a way to set the recent pictures icon to be visible for only 24 hours?

I have spent some time now reading the How-To and Troubleshooting » recent pictures but I can't find anything that deals with my particular problem. If I have missed an article then I apologize but if there is somebody out there who knows how to get round my problem please Help.

This forum is one of the best I have used and other members respond very quickly with fantastic results which is really helpful to a newbe to this software, I only wish that I had the knowhow to contribute myself. Maybe in time?

I've set the date_available at 2013-07-02 15:29:08 for one picture and 2013-07-02 15:29:08 for an other one
With 1 day as recent period, only the 2013-07-02 picture is displayed as recent
edit: lol I copy pasted the same date :/

Thank you for doing a test on recent pictures My setting needed changing and now all is Ok

I am very sorry it has taken so long but I am now in a wheelchair and trying to get used to the idea.

further to discussions on Recent Pictures today I noticed that I get two different views of the Album List

If I am logged in as admin the Album List shows correctly with just one days Recent Pictures Flagged.

But if I visit the site as a Guest or Log In as a User the Recent Pictures Flag show two days of updates instead of just the one.

This is not a major problem for me but as I update every day it can cause confusion for the site visitors.

You very kindly did some test for me some weeks ago which proved to work OK

If you get some free time could you try and duplicate this anomaly and let me know the results.

As You know I am a Newbee but as far as I can see there is only the one setting to change for the Number of days a picture is flagged as recent. Unless I am missing something?

Hoping it's not just my settings, as I would look a bit sillly. Kind Regards Brian.

Just a quicky, have you had time to check out the recent photo script yet?

Also I would like to know if any other members of the forum are experiencing the same problem as described earlier in this topic?

The 'recent pictures' issue is about the little icon 'New' appearing on recent pictures right?

Yes it's about the red rose that indicates that the album has been updated.

If you register yourself on the site I can then give you what ever privileges you want

there a 3 levels

guest
registered
administrator

Please indicate the level of privileges you want and the name you have registered in.
