I'm hoping this is going to be a *cough* quick & easy *cough* one :)

Theme Elegant

I would like the Photo Size - Icon (the square) on the picture page in the navigation bar to be more obvious somehow, so that guests know that there is a larger picture/original size available.

The other option, thats more work intensive, would be to make a Text Icon called "ZOOM". That one I would know how to make if the size stays the same (thanks to the tutorial ;) ).

(and the piwigo luxury version would even have another usability feature: I'm only using 2 image sizes, large and original. If a guest would press on "photo sizes" it would switch strait away to the bigger original size? Thought I'd mention it in case it has a quick resolution :) )
