two 'but' in a sentence, that's absolutely not understandable, for me at least.

I'm just asking you to copy/paste one of the album name you're trying to change as multilingual, here on that forum

Re: categories in different language

I think I get greasy here.

I empty the albums and started new.

1. In the admin. I added in the title of the albums :[lang=default]in dutch[/lang][lang=en]in englisch[/lang][lang=de]auf Deutsch[/lang]

2. When I go to English, German or Dutch, is shows me the languages in each of the albums. That should be correct.

3. I click on "in English" and add Flowers (example)
4. I go to "in Dutch" and I see also flowers. I change this to bloemen
5. When I click on English again I see also bloemen again???

Do I miss something?

Re: categories in different language

okay.... I think I see what's going on there : you only can change the name ! Which means when you

I click on "in English"
4. I go to "in Dutch"

you are going in the SAME album, which now has the name "[lang=default]in dutch[/lang][lang=en]in englisch[/lang][lang=de]auf Deutsch[/lang]" and is displayed according to the current language : it like having one door, but just the name on it changes according on who is entering
You CAN'T change the sub-albums, you need to set them a name like  "[lang=default]bloemen[/lang][lang=en]Flowers [/lang][lang=de]curry wurst[/lang]"
So your main album "[lang=default]in dutch[/lang][lang=en]in englisch[/lang][lang=de]auf Deutsch[/lang]" has no sense

Re: categories in different language

Hi Raymond,

(Stiekem even in het nederlands)

Re: categories in different language

Hoi,

groetjes

Ray

Re: categories in different language

It's working now, but I hope somebody is going to make a plug-in script to make it more easier to translate the categories.

If you want to translate now more than 20 languages and put them in the title, it's a nightmare.

Thanks!

Raymond
