Complete Redesign

Hi all,

Have completetly redesigned my piwigo site. It's still based on the stripped theme, but with many custom css changes.

I think it's a good example of how with a little time and effort you can use piwigo to achieve any look you want.

Re: Complete Redesign

Hi,

cool site :-)

I have notice some minor things:
1. Not sure if this is wanted: If you hover over the social icons, the hover effect is a dark square.
2. On the image page, the image title is about 50% behind the footer block

Cheers
Ralf

Re: Complete Redesign

Hi folks!

I am new here and I found Piwigo as I was searching for a way to get my wife online as a beginning photographer in the near future. First I looked at Wordpress (as all dedicated photography services are just too expensive and quite honestly, I am better off with what I can create and maintain myself, being an avid techie guy :)), but found out that while being ok for a photoblog, it is quite unsuitable to build a semi-static web-folio.

On the contrary, sites like www.michelledaniels.co.uk just show that Piwigo is just the thing to check out if you want to do what I want! So, I salute Paul (hard to judge online names, but I hope it's yours) for creatively using Piwigo for the aforementioned site and I would like to aim at a look in this direction (of course not blatantly copying it or something, I am past that age luckily :)).

Kudos to Piwigo creators and maintainers/contributors and I hope that when I delve deeper I might start frequenting these forums more!
