Is there a way to keep an album from showing in drill-down clicking from the public, but allow access with a direct link to the album? That is, the album remains hidden, but can be accessed with a link?
There are times when I want to show an album to a group of users without accounts (the kind who wouldn't log in, anyway, if they had them; preferring to see everything through the convenience of Facebook links), but don't want the album to be obvious to the general public.
YouTube, for example, allows this option for posted videos.
Is there a plugin that can accomplish this?
Hello ???
install ExtendedDescription plugin and add
<!--hidden--><!--mb-hidden-->
in the title of the album (letting it public)

That's perfect, thank you! Worked like a charm.
The solution with ExtendedDescription works fine but has one catch: The RSS feed does not discriminate between hidden and normal pictures/albums. Therefore, whenever I upload a hidden album, everyone subscribed to the feed gets notified including the direct link -- which makes the exercise quite futile.
I would be willing to deactivate RSS completely, but I can't find any possibility to configure it. Any ideas?
