Hello,
How are "Most Visted" photos calculated?
I assumed it was simply a matter of how many times visitors (guests or logged in users) click on the photos. However, Piwigo indicates my current most visited photo has been viewed 442 times (the number in parentheses before the photo/filename).
See the screen shot:

However, when I look at the statistics for this photo (http://my.website.org/gallery/admin.php … arch_id=59) I see that the same photo has only been viewed 14 times.
What's going on?
Here's the screen shot:
Hi hakodatephotos,
For good or bad reasons, the number of visits can be different from what you will find in a history search.
Piwigo registers the number of views in database field piwigo_images.hit and the history is filled in a specific table piwigo_history. History can be purged, but it won't reset the piwigo_images.hit. History can be partial: by default Piwigo doesn't register visits of administrators, but increments piwigo_images.hit whoever the user is.

Hello, thanks for your reply.
I have a WordPress Blog with the PiwigoPress plugin. This randomly displays thumbnail photos from my Piwigo gallery. Are these displays of thumbnail photos registered in piwigo_images.hit and or the piwigo_history table?
I think they are not registerd at all
