This image failed to load.

Hello.  I have been grateful for the help you have given me so far.  Back again.

I have loaded some photos to a test album.  When I try to open the photo (click on the thumbnail) I get the error listed above.  I have followed the FAQ suggestions about what to do if you can't see your images.  The album is public and in batch manager, the permissions for the photos are 'Everyone'.  Note that some photos in other albums have the same problem, and it appears to be random as to which ones.

I have created an Apache user and password for you.  To log on the site, use the same:
logon ID: piwigo
pw: help

Piwigo version: 2.6.3
PHP version: 5.5
MySQL version: 5.6
Piwigo URL: http://bpa.tgbartlett.net

Thank you for your attention.

Re: This image failed to load.

Since no one has answered this entry, I am going to delete the user id and password.

Re: This image failed to load.

Ah!

No, no problems.  The site is still being 'developed' and the pictures there are just to get used to the software. Look at the Album Bartlett Photo Archive/2014/Test1.  There are two photos.  The thumbnails can be seen.

Re: This image failed to load.

In the piwigo directory, I have a symlink that points to a storage array  /Arch

[root@web] /usr/local/www/piwigo# ls -al upload
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root  www  12 Jul 10 16:53 upload -> /Arch/upload

The permissions on /Arch/upload are:[root@web] /Arch/upload# ls -al
total 48
drwxr-x---  4 www   www     4 Jul 11 16:24 .
drwxr-xr-x  7 root  wheel   7 Jul 10 16:25 ..
drwxrwxrwx  4 www   www     4 Aug  1 22:56 2014
drwxrwxrwx  2 www   www    13 Aug  3 00:14 buffer

Is this what you were asking about?  They seem OK to me...

Hi :-)

Piwigo not found original file to show :-(

Have you add conf on local piwigo config ?

Re: This image failed to load.

I'm sorry, I don't follow that well enough.  Can you give me more details?  Do you mean modify /local/config/config.inc.php?  I can do that but need to know what to add to this file.  Or if you want me to modify another file...

Thank you for your attention!

For original photo

You don't have permission to access /upload/2014/07/22/20140722002800-a6340754.jpg on this server.

CHMOD ?

Re: This image failed to load.

I chmod the file from

-rw-r--r--   1 www  www  2277248 Jul 22 00:28 20140722002800-a6340754.jpg

to

-rwxrwxrwx   1 www  www  2277248 Jul 22 00:28 20140722002800-a6340754.jpg

Then restarted php-fpm and apache24.

Error still persists - I can't open the original file.  Just for my information, which log file did you open to find the error:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /upload/2014/07/22/20140722002800-a6340754.jpg on this server.

Knowing this might help me in the future...

Also, all the other files in upload directory have the same permissions which have been working.
I can just delete the pictures and re-upload.  Perhaps there is corruptions somewhere in the original upload.  It is true that most of the pictures I have uploaded can be opened without difficulty...

http://piwigo.org/doc/doku.php?id=user_ … es_missing

check the chmod and owner of each folders too for that picture

what's the difference between the photo public and the problematic privates ones?

Re: This image failed to load.

Same owner and permissions for all photo files, as listed above - www:www.  Permissions also the same -rw-r--r--
I have not set up an htaccess file or an .htaccess file so I assume there aren't any.
