Hi Hoser - Important in Edit -
I just cannot 'Move Photos' from Piwigo App Folder to Folder in 'Edit'.
I have to make new photo folders and upload duplicate photos - and then delete the earlier photos in Piwigo App folders.
This is also very annoying if a text description is already in place.
If 'Multiple Selected/Ticked Photos' in a folder could be moved/transferred to their correct Parent or Child Folder this would be a jaw dropping - punch the air - breakthrough!
Please Add 'Move Selected Photos' to EDIT in Piwigo App.

I second the request for a "move" function in the app. Right now I have to go into the web interface and use the batch manager to associate and de-associate photo's between albums.
@Spencer, if you have started on any code already, then eel free to send it my way and I'll put it in. If not, then just let me know and I will hack something together.

I haven't done anything on this.
I created an issue: [Github] Piwigo-Mobile issue #88

So when I add another button to the tool bar it get really crowded up there.
What do you guys think if we make it a menue with text instead of icons? I am thinking of the image edit option.

Olaf - as you suggest a dropdown 'Menu with Text' would be very good -
I agree too many icons would be to busy and difficult to select.

Just a brief update: The Select now has its own menu and I am working on making the app update its display after the move of the images. Bear with me, it is making progress.

I think it's a good idea. It makes the UI cleaner and textual menu is always simpler to understand for new users.

So right now we can move a selection of images to a single destination album. For example if an image is is album A, B and C, and you move it to album D it will go only into D.
How important is it to everyone to move images to _many_ destination album? Say, we start of with the image being in A, B and C, and you want to move it to E, F and G.
Is this second use case a "must have" on the iPhone?
Would you use the web interface for such a type of administration?

Hi Olaf - Photo Move Examples -
New Photo 00321 is uploaded into 'A' - it is then required (Tick) to be MOVED into 'C' (the photo is not duplicated and moves complete).
Photo 00321 in 'C' is then 'COPY' into a Favourites Albums 'F' it is moved from folder 'C' to 'F' (the photo is duplicated and keeps its title name).
Multi Photos Selection - SELECT Photo 00432, Photo 00435, Photo 00441 (Tick each) then MOVE from Folder B to Folder G (all 3 photos move complete).
I know this is a challenge in programming but this would be a great step forward for Piwigo. - Geoff
