Over writing Multi-size proportions

I have clients that need specific crops for the images they are using on their websites. Instead of a configuration of 1008 x 756 pixels, they need something more along the lines of 960x275. however if I go to change that in configuration it won't allow me to do the 275 even if I click crop. It says I need to be >594. Is it possible to over write this?

Yes, but sizes must respect order e.g. medium width/height < large width/height

Re: Over writing Multi-size proportions

I've played around with it and I see what you mean but is there anyway to turn that off?

Example take these three sizes:

1200x420
850x365
640x420

The first dimension respects the size order you mention but it won't do the third because it feels it has to be less then 365 as well. I got the cropping working but I'm limited in the amount of options I have based on this.

So instead of multi size being = small, medium, large, etc.

I want it to be: Full width banner, half width banner, etc.

Is that possible?
