Animated gifs

Hello/Hi/Greetings,

How do I upload an animated gif and have it animate on my page? (http://srm114.piwigo.com)

I added an Additional Page and posted this code to it and it is a still picture, with no animation:

<img src="./_datas/m/7/o/m7obt3lld1/i/uploads/m/7/o/m7obt3lld1//2015/12/15/20151215211233-77d6369a-cu_s9999x200.gif" alt="ChristmasInCamp">

Additionally, just to test, I put this code in right under it, which references the same gif but in a different location and it animates with no problem.

Should I be doing something different?

Re: Animated gifs

I'm not sure about your Additional Page stuff, but I find that the derived images generated by Piwigo do not animate, but if I choose the Original size for my animated gifs, they animate properly.  If you want a thumbnail to animate, you can manually generate an animated resize and put it in the pwg_representative directory.  I'm not sure what it would take to get the other sizes Piwigo usually generates to animate, but I think it's been stated in the past that it's not expected to work.
