Hello,
I am missing a small feature in Piwigo:
As I have many galleries, the category tree is very big (too big!) and growing with each gallery I add.
Thus I thought that it would be nice, if I could "hide" some of the categories, or show only up to the x.th level.
For example, I would like to have a category tree like this:
1 Photos 2016
1.1 Event A
1.2 Event B
1.3.1 Congress Day 1
1.3.2 Contress Day 2
1.3.3 Contress Day 3
1.4 Event C
2 Photos 2015
(subcategories hidden)
3 Photos 2014
(subcategories hidden)
4 Photos 2013
(subcategories hidden)
I think, this could be achieven by implementing a field/checkbox for each category (gallery), to be shown in the category tree.
Also, there could be a config option to show all categories in the tree if a parent category is opened.
Maybe even with a nice interface to select quickly which categories should be hidden, or up to which level they should be displayed.
This would be a very useful and cool feature to make Piwigo ready for large photo galleries and provide a nice feature for better flexibility.
I hope someone reads this ^^
Thanks!

Sorry... I should've taken a more detailed look into the extensions list first.
The extension RV Menu Tree already provides a similar solution:

In case there are still other solutions, I would still be interested.
This is however already almost what I was looking for. :-)
