Batch upload video

Hello,
just setup Piwigio on a hosted server. I have to use a windows upload program to upload and sync my files. The probelm I am having is that all the external upload programs I have tried are either not supporting Video upload or crash when used (media-pump). The other software I tried was pLoader-1.6_win, piwigo_import_tree.pl and remotesync-ui.jar (those 3 do not seem to support video files).
I can use the Web Form interface in the Administration area, but that would be very tedious. I have over 11,000 pictures and videos in hundreds of folders.
Basically I am looking for a solution / software that allows me to upload picture and video files from an existing folder structure.
Additionally I cannot install FFMpeg or other Software on the server.
Thanks!
Alex

Re: Batch upload video

If you happen to use Adobe Lightroom, take a look at http://alloyphoto.com/plugins/piwigo/ - I manage thousands of images and videos using hat one.

Another way could be to use (s)ftp, scp or rsync to upload your existing structure into piwigo/galleries and use the FTP sync feature. See http://piwigo.org/doc/doku.php?id=user_ … ure#by_ftp
