Hi,
Further to my previous topic, I've now had the hosting company duplicate my database as they couldn't gain access to it via phpMyAdmin for some reason.
I've now got a new database - it should be identical (but not corrupted) to the original one.
How do I point Piwigo to look at the new one and not the old?
I've tried editing the database.php file but that doesn't seem to be everything that needs changing.
Any help, as usual, will be gratefully received.
Thanks.

You changed the correct file. What does it do now?
You could always reinstall piwigo.

that's the file indeed
you might need to purge what's inside _data/ since compiled template etc goes there

Which subdirectories of _data would I need to purge?
Obviously all of my images are here so would prefer not to purge everything.
Thanks.
