Recaptcha?

Just a quick question, there is no "Recaptcha" plugin at the moment?
I use the Captcha plugin but it seems it's compromised and used by auto-forms.

It's something I really miss with-in Piwigo.... better protection for registration/contact.

Thanks,
Matthijs

Re: Recaptcha?

+1 to the idea of a modern captcha plugin.

I tried Captcha, Crypto Captcha and Easy Captcha, all without success. Captcha didn't like my reCAPTCHA keys, and I couldn't get the others to display on my pages – maybe there's some configuration needed for my template that I don't understand.

RV Akismet has worked fine for me for some years, but I am now being regularly hit by comment spam. I don't think this is the fault of the plugin; Akismet itself doesn't seem to be coping.

At the moment this approach: https://piwigo.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=26445 of banning links from comments seems a great idea.

But a reCAPTCHA plugin would be great.

If there is a good solution that doesn't involve Google, yes, I would prefer that.
