Don't forget there is a plugin that will convert physical albums to virtual ones, so you can upload via FTP, and then get the benefits of virtual albums, or my favourite 'Smart Albums' (plugin for that too).

I feel stupid, but that's a function I stumbled upon by a fluke really recently... So far, I didn't use Piwigo for mass hosting, but now this changes everything! I've started creating a picture reserve and it's been entirely satisfying so far, I hope it'll remain like this.
