Only a few characters are authorized for directory and file names, that is to say : a-z, A-Z, 0_9, "-" and "_". We have added this strong constraint to avoid many problems when it comes to display photos, not all browsers/web servers support extra characters.

But it doesn't mean that we can't have chinese characters as name for your photo. The file name is only the technical name, and the default name for your photo, but you can write your own name by hand if you wish so.

Anyway I think it could be a good idea to remove this constraint for specific languages.
