Don't move it! Don't copy it!


The logic is:

1 - Link all pictures to a virtual category.
2 - "Hide" the old category.


Only virtual categories can be moved.

Moving a directory has many consequences like loss of description, tags, comments, stats...

Linking all the pictures: Manage your category and look for "Associate pictures..."
You have several ways to do it.

Hiding a category: Make it private and removing all access.

Removing access from a category means pictures cannot be accessed by this category but they could be by another one (the virtual category, where all the images are linked).


Anyway I am working on a plugin to virtualize your old categories.
