[resolved] problem Keeping text in header.

How can I increase the header banner size so more text could be seen in it?

Re: [resolved] problem Keeping text in header.

I don't understand what you want to do.

From what I understand :

Administration -> Specials -> Plugins -> LocalFiles Editor -> Tab CSS

edit template/yoga/local-layout.css

add

#theHeader {
    min-height:280px !important;
    height:280px !important;
}

You can change 280 in what you want

Characters limit is currently 255.

But you can create a template extension to have more.

LocalFiles Editor ("Templates" tab)
http://piwigo.org/forum/showimage.php?pid=110081&filename=Sharing3.png

Edit it after {$PAGE_BANNER}
http://piwigo.org/forum/showimage.php?pid=110081&filename=Sharing4.png

Configuration > Templates
Replace standard header.tpl by your new .tpl header

Re: [resolved] problem Keeping text in header.

it doesn't work. the text overflows the header and shown on the border.

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg96/alexkapu/headeroverflowimg4upiwigo.png

the red marks the text that suppose to be in the header in exact  order and shape. I need to enlarge the header according to the text that shown on it (the text changes from time to time - ads)

how can i do it?

Edit: meanwhile I'm using ddtddt idea (by the way its nice and working) but its not perfect. maybe their is something better

edit2: i solved this issue thanks

ho ! it's due to the fixed header banner size for this template . But if you have solved it,  please  click : http://piwigo.org/forum/set_resolved.php?id=15501
