I'm using a slightly modified Simple Grey template, which opens thumbnails to an image page where the jpg is scaled to 680px. I don't want it to this. My plan is to use the recent LightBox plugin, and ideally have the thumbnail link to the full-size image displayed with that (rather than its own page).
How would I go about doing this?

Can anyone help me with this? Feel like it should be fairly simple, just can't figure it out...

Lightbox plugin is not compatible with SimpleGrey theme (version 1.3) :-/

Hmmm - that's a shame as I spent a bit of time modifying it to my needs. Is this noted anywhere in the plugin documentation or discussion. If not, it should be.
And what themes *is* it compatible with then?

No, it's not written anywhere I think. I just realized it during a test.
In fact, all themes are not compatible with all plugins and some plugins are incompatible when activated at the same time.
I've notified saimon (SimpleGrey author) and P@t (lightbox author) about this incompatibility.

You can be quite sure it is compatible with all "yoga" themes ("yoga" is the default template in Piwigo 2.0).

Thanks for the quick replay and for clearing that up.
Looks like I might go with P@t's original Lightbox plugin, but yes - I've been able to get it working in the "yoga" template but not in my preferred "simple" template/themes. Would much appreciate it if anyone has advice on this...

Hi,
I looked at this, but I don't know how the lightbox plugin work: does it rely on a given id or class ?
