Yes, this would be an excellent feature on piwigo.org.

What is planned (for 2010) is a kind of "showcase" like Wordpress do. It could also be named "user directory". The idea is indeed to promote Piwigo galleries all over the web :-)

OK, I think I understand your request : just like you can subscribe to Piwigo newsletter from Piwigo administration panel, you would like to register in the showcase with a single click from Piwigo administration panel?

I think a ring is like what I have on my blog for immigrer.com (see the bottom of right column). It gives direct links to other sites that belong to the community.
