I have been combing through the files to try and find where I can edit the html at the top of the page to include a multi-linked banner. I cannot seem to find where I can edit this from. Any ideas of which files to specifically look in?

[Administration > Configuration > Options > Main > Page banner]

You can use HTML in this field.

But I have a small problem:
I insert this code into the banner, I made a new folder called image on my server, and inserted a jpg file. I then refresh the page in user panel and the whole site becomes misaligned, there is still no picture present. What am I doing wrong?

Oh, I figured out the problem - i forgot to add </img>

But on another note, how can you make the whole area come down to fit any size banner?
Otherwise the banner space takes up the categories area.

And, when I put a link on the banner useing <a href=""></a> or any other link on the site, it does not work because the final link shows as follwos:

http://www.mysite.com/piwigo/www.newsitelink.com

I want it to link to: www.newsitelink.com
