Plugin User Tags

Hi all,

Your visitors ask you every days to help you tagging your picture. Today it's now possible : [extension by nicolas] User Tags

It's a first release and if you find a bug or have an idea to improve it you're welcome.

Re: Plugin User Tags

Nice plugin nicolas.

Very basic and it works very fine!

However I think it is a bit dangerous for an "open gallery", if you consider anybody can delete tags added by others (including the webmaster). So a permission system would be more secure (maybe something as basic as what I implemented for [extension by plg] Community).

Another suggestion: a log to know "who did what" + a notification system (not easy unless you send an email on each action).

Only authenticated users can delete tags. But I agree, I must add permission to be more secure.

Re: Plugin User Tags

A new release (0.2.0) adds theses features :
- permissions on actions (add or delete) done on widget tags. You can define who can add/delete tags by users status
- add a help page

Re: Plugin User Tags

Hi,

Can anybody confirm with which styles this plugin works?

So far I have only found it to work with:
-Sylvia
-Clear
-Dark
-Pure_tr_green (my guess any pure style)

The problem is, I don't really like these styles.

It would be very nice to see it work alongside:
-Gally/Graphite
-Simple Sunset
-Luciano Amodio

These first two are both of a series, namely Gally and Simple. Implementing it in these will allow many of their style derivatives to work as well.

Keep up the good work, this plugin is excellent!

Re: Plugin User Tags

If User Tags does not work with your style it is most likely that the <tr id> <td class> tags do not correspond with the default theme. To fix this compare picture.tpl of your theme with the default one (search for tags).
--yes I am answering myself, but found this out yesterday. Maybe it is helpful to somebody else.

I have run into another issue.

This is because the javascript that comes with the plugin has been converted to something not very easy to use for a human. So I can not edit it to my preferences myself.

I am stuck at doing two things:
* I really do NOT want to have the suggestion box or the "start typing" message. Which basically means no content that corresponds to facebook-auto in the CSS.
* I want the update button in-line with the tags

My goal is to have a easy tag system for my users incoperated in the Gally style. Please check my site to see what I am talking about:
http://**ul.net/fotos/picture.php?/22/category/1
**=ge I really don't want this site to be indexed right now.

Thanks in advance.

Jacco

Re: Plugin User Tags

Incompatibility between User Tags 0.3.5 and paMOOramics 2.0.a on Piwigo 2.1.5

I see User Tags is listed to be only compatible up to Piwigo 2.1.3, but I think it was working up till the recent release  (2010-11-03) of paMOOramics 2.0.a.

I am unfortunately at the moment unable to downgrade again to test, but as soon as I can, I will report again. Just a heads up for possible problems now.

Re: Plugin User Tags

I fixed a major issue on the plugin. I think the plugin never worked as expected. Now it works. Upgrade to release 0.6.0.

Re: Plugin User Tags

I just upgraded to version 0.6.0 and now I am seeing an error that says "Plugin Error: /admin.php is not a valid file.

It goes away when I de-activate the plugin and returns when activated.   When I try to launch the User Tag Administration Options I see this error.

Notice: Undefined index: section in /home/administrator/sites/hunkforo/photos/admin/plugin.php on line 32 Invalid plugin URL
