HTML and Plain Text emails not displaying properly

Hello,

When a user requests a new password, or when I use the UserAdvManager plugin for registration validation, an email will be sent, but the contents of the email are a bunch of HTML with a Token ID displayed at the top and bottom. When I set my default email style to plain text through local.config file, the header looks like this:

-----=9HSj6KNAw0d69H7PHaU5P7E3rnqRQS4P
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8";
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit

The email body is ok, then the footer is as follows:

-----=9HSj6KNAw0d69H7PHaU5P7E3rnqRQS4P--

This is not an email client issue as I've tested in several email platforms... Any ideas what is going wrong? I am using the most up-to-date version of Piwigo and before this update my password reset email was displaying just fine; I'm not sure what has changed with this update in terms of email...

Thanks for your help.

Re: HTML and Plain Text emails not displaying properly

@ everybody and Team Members specially: I had a private discussion on this issue with dmstive. Having no idea why this problem seems to affect only UserAdvManager, I advised him to open a dedicated thread here.

UAM uses the Piwigo's pwg_mail() function and I do not see what can generate this encoding problem. I was unable to reproduce this problem on my test galleries, nor my online galleries. For me, all UAM emails are correctly generated, send and received.

If someone has a track to give, thank you in advance!

Re: HTML and Plain Text emails not displaying properly

I am still having an issue with my emails, can someone please help me out?

The "From" in the header, when a password reset is requested, reads "reply-type=original MIME-Version: 1.0 X-Mailer: Piwigo Mailer" rather than the email address it is sending from... this is in addition to the previously described issues. It also sends the mail directly in my spam folder.

Thanks,
dmstive
