Hi anthony43,
I just received my Android phone and the first thing I tested was ReGalAndroid. Unfortunately it doesn't work, the "Enter in the Gallery" bouton breaks the execution (I configured a "Piwigo" gallery type, set my gallery URL, a username + password).
I use Android 2.2 and a wifi network.

and I have no SD card.

Hello all !
please report your issues on the project issue page list :
http://code.google.com/p/regalandroid/issues/list
@Plg, you must have a sdcard in your phone to use it (not a big requirement though, since *many* phones have one) this is because using the cache is mandatory (or else it would keep loading pictures from the network)
I tried with this piwigo gallery : http://piwigo.dahanne.net and it works flawlessly, and also some other people reported it worked with their piwigo installations.
Please report issues and give your gallery urls.
Thanks !

It works with our gallerie.
only bug i encountered was when we started to upload videos the app crashed. dont know if its because iam using a old version of android on a tablet or if it is a general bug in the system.
Otherwise simple and very nice app good work

This is a nice app. It works for me. One thing though. I uploaded a photo to try it out and the photo on my gallery is only 300 pixels wide. I can't find any settings that I can change the size of the photo.

Hey there, I'm also getting FC's in this app and I've added a comment to issue 85 at http://code.google.com/p/regalandroid/issues/list
Please, anyone else that's having this issue go to the google code site and star the issue. Here's a direct link to issue 85: http://code.google.com/p/regalandroid/i … tail?id=85
I did find a work around that I thought I'd share.
Configure the app for your server:
1. Open App and tap Menu - Settings
2. Change the following settings:
a. Gallery type - Piwigo
b. Gallery URL - the address of your gallery
c. Username and password - make sure this user has upload permissions.
3. Back out of the app
4. Open your android photo gallery app of choice (I like QuickPic https://market.android.com/details?id=c … .PicFolder)
5. Browse to a photo you want to upload and tap share (note that multiple photos will work, but you can't rename them - you only can pick which folder they upload to)
6. Select Upload photo(s) with RegalAndroid
This has worked for me - the only downside is that it will only let you upload to an existing album.
Even with the FC on opening the main app, I still prefer this app over the Piwigo one (for now). I've found that the Piwigo Android App doesn't seem to keep the HD photo on upload.
Between those 2 apps, I'm able to do what I want from my phone.
Hope this helps someone else that has these problems

Thank you sultore, I've discovered QuickPic

Yes, I'm quite surprised by QuickPic. I'm also surprised at how little attention this app receives.
Thank you for all your hard work on piwigo and thank you anthony43 for your work on integrating piwigo to ReGalAndroid!
