Hi mahdiar,

1) install pLoader from the Ubuntu Software Center

Unfortunately, there is a bug on Ubuntu, see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour … bug/754513 so there is a second step :

2) from a terminal, type:

Code:

sudo cpan Wx

and answer "yes" to every question.

Then you can run pLoader (I don't know where to find it in the new Unity organization)

In a perfect world, the libwx-perl package in Ubuntu wouldn't have been broken and a simple "apt-get install ploader" or a click on the "install" button in the Ubuntu Software Center should have been enough.

I don't think the solution is harmful in any way.

The bug in Ubuntu 11.04 should be fixed now.

Installing ploader on Ubuntu 11.10 Beta works as well. (I did it through the software center.) Thanks for getting into the repositories, this makes using Piwigo even easier than before!
