EnglishNo, there isn't. The only documentation is in the wiki.

Would it be possible for one of the developers involved in the project to create such a documentation using one of the many open source php documentation programs such as phpDocumentor and make available through the wiki.

I have a question : why ?
all the files are available online via http://piwigo.org/dev and offline by donwloading the files and doing searches in the files via one of the numerous text editor for dev

As a developer I would like to contribute to the project in the form of some useful plugins, and possible help in fixing bugs, and adding new features.
I document created with a program like phpDocumnetor, would go a long way in documenting the classes, there properties and methods, using in developing the software.

If you would like, I will download and install the most resent version of phpDocumentor, and run Piwigo 2.25, the most stable release, with the documentor. Once complete, I can upload the results to the wiki, if you create a location in the wiki, and let send me the link where to place it.
