There anyway I could add a banner on the far left side of my page? I already got one at the top.

you can add with
Administration -> Configuration -> Options -> Page banner

You ca use CSS tag for position element

Can you tell me more? I'd like my banner to show up left side under the menu? My albums go way down so there is a big space I could add too.

ok you can add bloc on menu,

you can use [extension by grum] Advanced Menu Manager with personal bloc
