Additional Page - Vertical alignment

I am finding that my opening 'Additional Page' (unlike other pages) is set too low on the screen.
I have nothing above my page image.

How can I move the image and text up?

Hello
Some details are required if you want to help : what theme, a screen-shot to describe, ... and a link ?

Re: Additional Page - Vertical alignment

link: davidvj.piwigo.com
theme: Stripped

I need to scroll down in order to see the lower menu and there appears to be lots of space at the top.
The difficulty is seen on the opening "Additional Page"

Secondary pages appear to be better placed.

Re: Additional Page - Vertical alignment

you have put in your header this
<h1 style="text-align: center; ">&nbsp;</h1>
<h1 style="text-align: center; ">&nbsp;</h1>
which needs to be deleted if you don't want anymore space

Re: Additional Page - Vertical alignment

Obviously I need a bit more guidance: Where (which page) exactly should this be inserted.

I put it into the bottom of the 'Additional' page and that only made everything worse.

Re: Additional Page - Vertical alignment

Obviously you need to read more carefully
These lines need be deleted from your current banner, on the config page

Re: Additional Page - Vertical alignment

Thanks for the prompt reply ... yes you are right I did not read your message correctly.

If I go to Configuration > Options ... on the Main tab, there is no code whatsoever in the box.
Or am I looking in the wrong place?

Re: Additional Page - Vertical alignment

OK ... sorry again ... turned on the FCKE  and low and behold it was there.

It reads slightly different from your example as follows:

<h1 style="text-align: center; ">
    &nbsp;</h1>
<h1 style="text-align: center; ">
    &nbsp;</h1>

I assume that I delete it all?

If I am going to use it or need it later can I simply comment it out?

Thanks;

David

Re: Additional Page - Vertical alignment

Hello ... did as you suggested and still have, even greater, problem.

When the lines were deleted in config. the page size expanded so the problem in fact became worse.

When I re-inserted the lines the 'oversize' of the page remained so it is now quite unusable.

Your assistance would be appreciated. Thank you;

David

Re: Additional Page - Vertical alignment

Hi,
I've tried with FireBug to remove these <h1> tags and the display is pretty good
http://img1.uploadscreenshot.com/images … 0-orig.png

in fact there are FOUR <h1> tags :
2 just after <body>
and 2 into <div id="theHeader">

right click -> show source code to see them

the 2 into <div id="theHeader"> are the ones available in the configuration page, for the others... I don't know, perhaps a template extension (Admin->Configuration->Template)

ps : you should downsize a bit your home page picture : I've a fullHD screen and I still have scrollbars

Re: Additional Page - Vertical alignment

Thanks for the comments and help ..... Your screenshot is interesting .....

You also have the problem that the small print with " ADMINISTRATION LOGOUT" etc is not visible.

This lower line surely should be visible without scrolling down?

Cheers;
