I was hoping that this feature would have been released in 2.3.4, as was hinted at Feb/March.
Is there any timeframe afoot to enable this? thanks

Forbid access to the original size then (screen [Administration > Users > Manage], set "HD access" to no)

For now, Piwigo can't add a watermark on the original image, because it means we can't remove it or apply another one or create thumbnails without watermark and bigger sizes with a watermark.
