[resolved] Manage Albums Plugin?

Is the way we Manage Albums (by drilling down level by level) changed in version 2.4 or is there any Plugin for this?

Now that I have uploaded all the photos for a year with many albums, it is difficult to manage them.
I would like a 'File Manager' / 'Windows Explorer' type of view so I can access the correct album quickly as Administrator.

Re: [resolved] Manage Albums Plugin?

I guess everyone is too busy working on 2.4 to answer my question :-)

If I create a gallery hierarchy with, say, 5 or 6 levels down to Year/Month/Day it is difficult to manage the albums efficiently.

Re: [resolved] Manage Albums Plugin?

That looks useful, thanks.  I have had a quick look and will try it.

I guess I was really looking under Administration rather than in the Gallery as an Administrator!
I'm finding more and more 'quirks' and 'subtleties' in Piwigo every day.  Thanks for the suggestion.

Re: [resolved] Manage Albums Plugin?

I agree that the albums management screen miss the ability to show sub-albums without reloading the whole page. I hope we'll work on it for Piwigo 2.5.

Re: [resolved] Manage Albums Plugin?

We receive suggestions all the time, but we can't know yet if we want to implement them and when.
